1972 1302 Karmann Cabriolet.
Bare metal body off resto over 20 years ago, was imported from Italy & converted to RHD. Has been garaged ever since to keep it in this condition.
Last owner had it 18 years, I have had it for 6.
I am an an aircooled vw specialist & this is my own personal car.
It sits in the garage & is hardly used.
There is no rust on the car at all.
Paintwork is still very good.
I built a high spec 1641cc engine. Alloy case, c/w crank, high lift cam, ported heads & twin Weber 40's.
It drives beautiful with its 1500 IRS gearbox & lowered struts.
Disc brakes on the front.
It has heating which works too.
Grey leather trim, US spec high back seats. I will fit a stereo. It has speakers & amp already.
I will take it for an MOT next week even though it is tax & mot exempt.
It is ULEZ compliant too.
Only for sale as I have seen something I want. If the deal falls through, I will keep it.
