As the car sits currently it’s startsand runs sweet as sounds Brakes are stiicky but are free but to be expected given its long term dry storage The car is very solid having owned a few 914 and worked on many more I know the good and bad areas and this is a good car Alll sills and boot floor are solid Suspension areas all sound Hell hole under battery and chassis rail areas all very good One small 50p size hole in near side floor pan and that’s easily fixed. All doors are good. No rust and shut with a satisfying clunk no sagging All roof and targa posts sound Bonnet and boot lid solid no corrosion All the correct 914/6 details are there ign key is on the correct left hand side on the dashboard Chassis number and plate fully intact Many letters from Porsche regarding its authenticity. Every mot back to 1980 confirming is original 29k Genuine Fuchs all round 911s front suspension 2.0 911e engine on triple webers Front mounted oil cooler Fibreglass 914/6 front and rear bumpers New rear exhaust box All gear select smooth and no nasty noises In short an extremely worthwhile project that do not come along often in this price range I’d planned on spending approx 30k on bare metal paint , detail and refresh all suspension and engine etc Re trim the interior etc After this is done the car would b worth in excess of 100k look for yourself at what 914/6 are available on the market I’m happy to deal with home or international buyers I’ve Experience of shipping internationally and can help with delivery to port of buyers choice at their cost Can be viewed at my Wshop in Ashford Kent by prior arrangement as the car is in secure storage and I would have to get it back to my work address.
