Hello all, for sale is my 1972 Karmann  Ghia  I purchased the car from a classic car garage in Cheshire who had previously bought it from an auction ( I have a link to the auction video for interested buyers). I received very little history with the car but am aware that it was imported from the USA in 2018. Someone (including myself) has spent a lot of money on this car with it having a full respray, I suspect a little while before coming here. It is now what I believe to be VW Sea Sand having previously been light blue.  It has a 1641 engine with recently serviced twin Kadrons. All mechanical and service works have been carried out by Rob at Bughaus Nottingham. It has a Vintage Speed stainless exhaust and Vintage Speed gear shifter along with Porsche Fuchs wheels and Moto Lita steering wheel. I have had the car returned to its correct hight with 4 new correct tyres for better road holding and ride quality. I have still the drop spindles to drop it back down should the new owner wish to do so. It's totally solid underneath and never been welded anywhere. It's mot'd until April 25 and has no advisories. The mot tester was very impressed with the underside.  The speedo stopped working at 21000 miles so I have replaced this with a working one. The car has the original seats fitted and also has the benefit of heat pads in them (both seat and back) which all work. It also has a new carpet set fitted. The bodywork is in good condition with no dents but there are a couple of paint cracks and a couple of bubbles which can be seen in the photos. My neighbour has sold their house so I've lost my garage hence the sale. Price is £12995 Thanks for reading.
