Hi and thanks for viewing my listing.

Here we have my 1975 VW Bay window camper.

Imported from New Zealand 17 years ago so the chassis is superb.

Recent work done renewing front brakes so she stops on a penny.

Starts runs and drives faultlessly.

Nice basic interior with rock and roll bed, storage, sink, fridge and pop top with boards to make a bed for the kids.

Bodywork is the reason its not £25k+. Shes been with the same family since importing, and been touched up with the worst matching paint i've ever seen lol. Looks a bit better than the pics now, i've removed the flowers, and mopped some of the badly matching paint off.

Front bumper now also fitted.

Bits of rust showing here and there - but its mainly just surface and saveable over the winter with a bit of effort. Nearside dogleg needs sorting, and theres a little hole drivers side cab floor. Thats it.

The cabin is beautiful with original front seats in stunning condition.

Every single thing works and I'm using her daily. We've just returned from a camping trip around east anglia and south yorkshire, and she didn't miss a beat.

All wheels and tyres are superb. Whitewall tyres, original chrome hubcaps etc.

1800cc dual carb type 4 engine, with the best set up gear selection i've ever driven lol - no bowl of porridge or guess work here.

Bargain priced up and running, useable straight away little camper van. Priced to reflect it could probably do with a respray any time soon, unless you like the patina of the sunburnt roof etc.

The Australian and New Zealand imports fetch the high high prices when tidy, due to the combination of hot climate/solid chassis, and the fact that the are right hand drive.

I will do a running and driving walkaround video and update the listing as soon as I can.
Thanks for looking.
