1964 Volkswagen beetle. 1300 engine.

We bought this beetle just over three years ago with intention of keeping it for life.

In the first year of owning the car we carried out the following work:

5 new tyres.

New battery.

New steering box and steering arm.

The car then went to a local specialist for the following work:

engine bay surround seal.

Engine bay seal over gearbox.

Oil cooler.

Oil cooler seals.

Clutch kit.

Manifold rubber boot.

Inlet manifold gasket.

Rear gearbox mounts.

Tinware for twinport engine and oil cooler stand.

Static 3 point seat belts.

Retractable seat belts.

Front brake shoes.

Rear brake shoes.

Rear brake hoses.

Rocker gasket.

Rocker cover clip.

Rear brake cylinders.

Fuel tank raise Frame.

Inspect car to find that rear needed a lot of welding. All required welding work carried out.

Remove engine, install new clutch, flywheel oil seals. replaced tinware and oil cooler due to being single port items. replaced carburettor & distributor with customer supplied items. adjusted valve clearances, set timing via timing light and set up carb on test bed. Items fitted are listed above.

We then had a few short trips in the car before ill health meant that it has been stored unused in the garage for the last two years. Now due to a family bereavement I have decided to sell the car on.

Car is currently Sorn in my garage. Engine starts and runs. Car has been lowered on an adjustable front beam.

To avoid scammers I will be expecting to talk to anyone who is seriously interested in

the car on the phone before arranging any viewings.
